3RD Annual Lavender Festival to Food, Fragrance and Fun
June 16-17 & 23-24, 10am - 5pm

The annual 123 Farm Lavender Festival is scheduled to attract over 10,000 attendees in its third year. Hosted by Highland Springs Resort on its 20 acres of organic herbs in beautiful Cherry Valley, California, this year’s festival will feature even more lavender cuisine, outdoor activities and entertainment for nature lovers of all ages. Admission is free, however there is a $5 parking fee.

Visitors are able to roam the lavender fields at their leisure, or take guided tours. A licensed aromatherapist will conduct
introductory classes on herb propagation and aromatherapy. Also scheduled are presentations on making center pieces and herb sachets. There will be an area devoted to children’s activities, featuring nature crafts, lawn bowling and croquet. The organic marketplace will offer a wide selection of organic produce, health and beauty products, and accessories for the home.

Throughout the festival there will be available a large selection of unique dishes, including lavender-infused beef brisket
sandwiches and lavender chicken sandwiches on rosemary foccacia bread. Among the desserts on the menu: homemade lavender lemon loaf, lavender lace cookies, white chocolate lavender bark and lavender ice cream. Iced lavender green teas and lavender lattes, made with organic coffee, are perfect for sipping under the tall pines of the main lawn.

123 Farm is committed to the idea of a ‘green community’, from the abundance of local wildlife living around the fields to the use of irrigated spring water drawn from the surrounding hills. Sustainable packaging, recycling and overall respect for the environment are all part of a way of life at the farm, not just responsible practices.

Highland Springs Resort is located 90 minutes east of Los Angeles on Route I-10. Take exit 96, north on Highland Springs Avenue for 2.5 miles.
