PET POLICY: No pets allowed. Service animals welcome. Be aware that we have free roaming farm dogs on the property. Very friendly to guests and authentic service animals, but not friendly to pets.

GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES: As a real working farm, please be aware that many areas of the property are not ideal for guests using a wheelchair or walker (uneven ground, wood chip cover, etc.).

When is peak bloom?

From mid-June to mid-July, 123 Farm's lavender is in full bloom. Although the fields remain purple throughout July, we continually harvest the lavender as a working farm. Our farm uses the harvested lavender to create our beauty products and food items.

Things to do

DISTILLATION DEMONSTRATION
Daily 6 pm
Join our farmer for a demonstration on distilling lavender to extract essential oils. The talk will cover the organic practices of our farm and discuss about our future plans. The demonstration lasts about 30-45 minutes.

Friday to Sunday 6-10 pm
Monday to Thursday 7-9 pm
Take a ride through the lavender fields and visit the magnificent 1000-year-old oak tree and return back. During the tour, your friendly guide will share the rich history of the ranch. This tractor tour lasts for approximately 10-15 minutes and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis with no prior reservations taken. Tours are $8 for adults (18-64 years old), $7 for seniors (65+ years old), $5 for children (4-17 years old) and free for kids under 3 years old.
sourdough bread hall
Daily 5-10 pm
Purchase organic sourdough bread made using ancient grains (milled fresh daily) using a natural starter (no yeast). Different types of breads may be available on the weekends. Starter available to purchase with instructions on making your own sourdough bread at home. Sample infused olive oils, organic vinegars and infused honeys. Lavender cheese available for purchase.
TEA ROOM
Daily 5-10 pm
Sample lavender-infused teas from 123 Farm and regenerative green teas from Wild Orchard. Purchase sweets made out of tea such as Lavender Earl Grey Ice Cream and our popular iced Lavender Latte! Located in the main lobby.
History tour
Wednesday & Thursday at 6:30 pm
Take a walking tour led by a local historian to expore and learn about the area's rich history.

Sunday 6:45 pm
Take a walking tour of our farm to see firsthand how we raise sheep and cultivate crops like grapes, persimmons, and lavender, culminating in a tasting session at Casa de las Tapas.

WINERY TOUR
Saturday & Sunday 6:30 pm
Join us for a delightful mini winery tour, where you can discover the story behind our grape vines and our vision for the future of Black Bench Winery. Our farmer will tell you about how we planted our vines and also about the grape varieties we cultivate. Complimentary wine sample at the Black Bench Wine Bar The tour is free. Please meet on the brick patio next to the Master Gardeners and restroom.
Indigenous GARDEN TOUR
Saturday & Sunday 7:00 pm
Begins Memorial Day weekend.
The Master Gardeners guide you through our Indigenous Garden which showcases native culture and the edible and medicinal plants that grow wild in our area and were historically used by our local tribes. The tours take place on Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm. Please meet at the Master Gardeners booth. Free.

Lavender Food & Drinks

The main food court is located outdoors near the lavender fields and offers various lavender-inspired food and drinks from 5-10 pm. There is no indoor restaurant dining on site.

Winery Tour & Tasting

Although we have a free winery tour and wine tasting on the weekends, we invite you to take part in an extended walking tour of our vineyard to learn about our sustainable farming and future visions and finish at Casa de las Tapas for a wine tasting experience. Saturdays at 6:45pm. $50 per person.

The Lavender Festival takes place on the grounds of 123 Farm at Highland Springs Ranch and Inn. Most activities and food areas are located outdoors, with a few indoor spaces for shopping and food items (tea room, sourdough bread). Please read the description to the areas below.

Our organic lavender fields, located in two different areas, bloom at slightly different times depending on the variety, usually reaching their peak from mid to late June.

3. Sample Lavender Garden + Distillation Demo
Explore over 100 unique lavender varieties in our demonstration garden. Attend a talk and learn about our distillation process, used to extract essential oils from lavender, featured in our daily demonstrations at 6 pm.

4. Olive Grove Photo Opp
Take a photo on a vintage sofa located in our century-old olive groves.

5. Flower Market
Discover a selection of lavender plants available for purchase, alongside culinary and beauty items crafted from our lavender. Explore our range of floral-inspired gifts, such as candles and bar soaps, in addition to dried floral and lavender bouquets.

Savor an array of lavender-infused culinary delights, including dishes, lemonade, desserts, and ice cream, highlighted by our sought-after lavender and fig sourdough pizza. Indulge in our signature lavender margarita, lavender whiskey sour, and additional cocktails at the Lavender Bar. Enjoy live music every evening from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
‍The UC Master Gardener Program offers expert gardening advice, including help with growing lavender. Join our free Indigenous Garden Tour on Saturdays and Sundays at 7 pm to learn about native plants used by local tribes. Meet at the Master Gardeners booth.

8. Tractor Pulled Wagon Tours
Take a 15-minute tractor wagon ride to learn about our ranch and see the lavender fields and the 1000-year-old oak tree. Tours run 6-10 pm on weekends and 7-9 pm on weekdays. Adults $8, Seniors/Students $7 and Children $5 (kids 3 years and under ride for free).

9. The Blacksmith Shop
Our historic blacksmith shop has been transformed into a charming farm store, where you can find an array of items including 123 Farm logo hats and t-shirts, along with a variety of culinary and beauty products crafted from our farm's lavender, among other unique finds.

10. 123 Lavender Village
Indulge in distinctive lavender-infused culinary delights at the village, featuring lavender burgers, lavender slushy cocktails, and an array of other unique lavender-themed food and drink options.

11. Sourdough Bread Hall, Black Bench Wine Bar, Tea Room + Front Desk
Stop by the Bread Hall to indulge in our organic sourdough, crafted from ancient grains for a unique and nutritious experience. Enjoy revitalizing Wild Orchard regenerative green teas in our Tea Room or taste our Black Bench wine selection. Convert your ticket to an annual membership at the Front Desk.

12. The Organic Galleries
Discover nine themed shops featuring our farm's produce, from a provisions market and 123 Farm merchandise to stationery and candles. Enjoy lavender churros at the Sweet Barn and lavender lattes at the coffee shop.

13. Casa de las Tapas by 123Dough
Savor organic old-world wines paired with tapas, which incorporate select ingredients from our farm's bounty, in the historic setting of our Spanish Courtyard dining room.

Can I purchase tickets at the door? How much are tickets?

Yes, tickets are available at the door, but are $5 higher than the online price.

Ticket prices vary by day. Click on the ticket link at the top of the page and select your desired date to see the price. There are no refunds for tickets. The event takes place even if it rains. In the event of severe high winds, the event will be canceled. Please check our Instagram page (@123farmorganics) prior to your visit.

Members do not require reservations. All membership levels can arrive on any day and time they wish.

How do I make changes to my online ticket?

If you purchased your ticket online, you can change the date you would like to attend on your own. Please click this link to learn how.

PHOTOSHOOT
Can I come in the morning to take photos?

To avoid the heat and to make it a more pleasant experience for our guests, we have changed the Lavender Festival hours in 2023 to 5-10 pm. If you would like to enjoy the festival outside of festival hours you are welcome to purchase a photoshoot time slot.

Photoshoots are available from 11 am to 4 pm in 2 hour increments. $150 per two hours on select days. The photoshoot does not allow for exclusive use of the grounds (other photoshoots may also be scheduled during your time). Prices start at $500 for a private photoshoot booking (2 hour slot).

Sunset photos are available on days the Lavender Festival is not open (i.e. Tuesdays) for $500 (2 hour time limit).

What are the rules to observe while attending the event?

No picnicking.

No outside alcohol or beverages (water flasks/bottles are ok). If you would like to bring in your own bottle of wine, a $35 corkage fee will apply (please come to the Front Desk to make payment).

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.

No natural features may be removed from our property, including rocks, pine cones, wood, flowers, etc.

Please do not pick any fruits from our trees or plants from our gardens, including lavender.

Parking is $10 per vehicle.

Student and Senior ticket holders will be asked to verify age with ID at admissions.

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.No drones allowed.

No animals are allowed onsite except for service animals as defined byADA

Golf carts will not be allowed on any walking paths and must park at the parking lot (parking fee still applied to golf carts, carts are parked at your own risk).The farm (Highland Springs Ranch and Inn) is not liable for any damage or stolen vehicles including golf carts.

Please keep in mind that we are a working farm, which means that the terrain will vary from gravel to dirt paths so the use of certain walking aids may be difficult.

Be aware of the nature that may be present including snakes, bears, coyotes and other wildlife.

Hiking on our trails is not allowed during the festival.

Do you rent your hotel rooms overnight?

At this time we are not offering any of our hotel rooms to the public. We have no immediate plans to open the hotel portion of the ranch.

Do you give group discounts?
Do you give discounts to Plein Air Artists?

Yes, a 5% discount is available for groups of 20 people or more. Group tickets need to be pre-paid and purchased in advance. Physical tickets will be mailed to you. Please allow 5-7 business days for group tickets to be processed and received. To purchase group tickets please call 951-845-1151. Please note group tickets does not include parking.

Discounted tickets are available for Plein Air artists. Please contact 951-845-1151 for more information. Artists will need to follow the parking rules and park in designated areas.

Can I visit the lavender farm outside of the Lavender Festival?

Visitors are welcome to visit our farm when it is open to the public. We have several festivals throughout the year. The farm is closed to the public when there are no festivals or events running. Click here to see our upcoming festivals.

What is your pet policy?

We value all our guests with disabilities and we welcome service animals on our farm. Due to our property being certified organic and our philosophy to adhere and honor those rules, no pets other than ADA trained and harnessed service animals are allowed on the grounds. Service animals are as defined by ADA. As a working farm we have guardian dogs roaming the grounds. The dogs are friendly to people but are NOT friendly to outside animals.

Is parking free? Where do we park?

Parking is $10 per vehicle ($15 for oversized vehicles). There will be parking attendants that will show you where to park. Street parking is allowed across the street from the farm, but not permitted in neighborhoods. There is no parking for buses on property. Buses must park on the street on Cherry Valley Blvd. There is no preferred parking option for the Lavender Festival. Golf carts must also pay for parking. The farm is not responsible for any damages or property stolen to your vehicles. Parking on our property means you consent to all rules presented on this website.

Are the grounds wheelchair accessible?

The event is held outdoors on a grassy area with gravel paths and the fields are part of our working farm. As such there are some areas that will be inaccessible to guests in wheelchairs.

In case of rain what will be open or closed?

The Lavender Festival takes place rain or shine. No refunds will be given due to rain. You may change your online ticket date for free the night before your reserved date (11:59 pm deadline).

When does your lavender bloom?

The lavender varieties grown at 123 Farm are Provence (50%), Vera (40%) and Munstead (10%). The Provence and Vera typically begin to bloom in mid-June through mid-July. The Munstead usually begins to bloom near the end of May. Certain lavender varieties in our sample lavender garden begin to bloom in May. As a working lavender farm we harvest our lavender on an ongoing basis.

Sheep Shearing Festival

March 30-31,  2024

Get a close-up view of how our sheep are shorn and how we process our wool. Guests can learn about natural dyes, how to wash wool, and visit our farm to feed our organic sheep.

Shop Online!

The products at 123 Farm are made primarily using organic ingredients from our farm. We hand harvest and distill our own lavender essential oil in the summer, and press oil from our century-old olive groves in the fall. We practice bee guardianship and sustainably harvest honey and beeswax from our own hives. Our products are made in small batches.
